the beginning under painting of Flag Barn . I never know what i am going to use for the under painting until i set up my palette and am about to begin painting , this is a very personal thing to me. i feel a vibration from the scene and this sensation leads me to the beginning of the image. I have used all kinds of combinations even multi colored.
