a desire of mine is to capture the fleeting architecture of NewEngland.I grew up in Connecticut along the shore and at an early age was inspired by these old houses and small towns . As i grew older i began to see them disappear and used my art to help me make sense of this.when i have the privilege to paint in this landscape it feels as if I'm in a sacred place.smells touch my senses and awake memories of my childhood . sights begin to open emotions which push my paint across my canvas, I'm in a trance like state. This is when i work best and respond to the landscape in a very personnel way.
